Booking, Cancellation & No-Show Policy
Your appointment time is reserved especially for you. Late cancellations and no-shows prevent others from accessing care.
Cancellations or changes
We require at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or change an appointment.
Late cancellations (<24 hours) or no-shows
The full “No Wax” appointment fee will be charged.
This amount is credited, not refunded.
The credit may be:
Used for a future EarWise appointment, or
Gifted forward to another person.
Repeated late cancellations or no-shows
EarWise reserves the right to require pre-payment for all future bookings.
Exceptions
We understand that unexpected events can occur. Discretion may be applied in exceptional circumstances.
By booking an appointment, you agree to this policy.
Consent to Treatment
By attending an appointment at EarWise, you acknowledge and consent to the following:
You have provided accurate and complete information about your medical history, ear health, and any relevant conditions.
The practitioner has explained the nature of the procedure, including microsuction where applicable.
You understand that minor side effects may occur, such as temporary dizziness, noise discomfort, or ear sensitivity.
You understand that results cannot be guaranteed.
You acknowledge that you may stop the procedure at any time.
You understand that treatment may be declined if it is not clinically appropriate or safe.
Consent may be verbal or written. For children or those unable to consent, consent must be provided by a parent or legal guardian.

EarWise services do not replace assessment or treatment by a GP, ENT specialist, or emergency services.
